When all is done and turned to dust
Reflecting on the end of things, when everything has turned to dust.
And insects nest inside my bones, I see
Feeling a sense of decay or deterioration within oneself, likened to insects nesting inside.
I stagger in a daze outside my tent
Feeling disoriented or confused, possibly after a challenging experience.
No time for being alone
No time to spend in solitude or isolation.
To bleed
To suffer or experience emotional pain.
The hopeless singing of a round
Describing a feeling of hopelessness or despair.
That much we know to do
Recognizing a familiar pattern of behavior or action.
Before we go back underground
Before returning to a state of being buried or hidden.
No easy action
Highlighting that the situation is not simple or straightforward.
Sparks fill the air some nights

Crows look for food behind my skin

And then there's nothing to miss
