That in a battle with our darkness can win
Highlighting the potential to conquer inner struggles
The gates of heaven open before me
Experiencing a spiritual opening or revelation

Leaving all pretense behind, everything is crystal clear
Experiencing clarity amid the turmoil of uncertainty
Even all the worry of uncertainty subsides

Anticipating a transition into a new, unified state
Into the newness of unity that has been torn
Describing the fragmentation of unity into opposing factions
Into duality, into “it's us against them”
Recognizing conflict stems from fear-driven divisions
It's from a place of fear that all our conflicts stem
Acknowledging proximity to a significant change or realization
We're almost there, but not yet, still the stage is set
Preparing for the enactment of a predetermined fate
For the play we may enact according to our contract
Referring to the role both individuals play in a collective narrative
That we may both you and I, with everybody in our home up high
Invoking an awakening from a long, inactive state
To awaken from our deep and long undisturbed
Describing an imperfect state of awakening
Though hardly perfect sleep
Recognizing the grace and kindness bestowed upon individuals
If to look is to know the grace, which you bestow
Emphasizing the act of truly seeing people at their best
Upon those that you would raise
Encouraging viewing everyone with compassionate eyes
Into a kind and loving gaze
Highlighting the potential for perceiving inherent goodness
Then to look is to see everyone as good as they can be
