Navigating Life's Storms: A Reflection on Trust and Joy

I used to think joy, was the break between sorrow,
I used to believe that joy was the interval between moments of sorrow.
Like peace was the break between wars,
Similar to the idea that peace was the time between periods of war.
I'm still partly new now, but mostly older,
Though I still have some new perspectives, I've gained more experience and age.
And I can not say I'm so sure.
I can't confidently assert that my current beliefs are absolute.
