There's a call for self-redemption, an invitation to a better path.
Cut of your tongue, you have nothing to say
Advocating self-improvement by suggesting silence if one has nothing positive to contribute.
I have staggered in my wonder
I have wandered in amazement or contemplation.
Follow me to the kingdom of salvation
Encouraging others to join in a realm of spiritual deliverance or safety.
I've seen him our savior
Asserting a personal sighting of the savior.
They talk to me when it's dark
Communication with spiritual entities occurs during the darkness.
I shy the light, I welcome the night
A preference for obscurity and a welcoming attitude toward the night.
With the love of God I peel your skin
Expressing a form of divine love with symbolic skin-peeling imagery.
I talk with closed mouth and open eyes
Speaking metaphorically, conveying messages without literal speech but with open perception.
You shall behold the beholder
Suggesting the observer will be observed, possibly in a divine context.
Stumble no more in blindness
Advising against stumbling blindly, advocating for clarity and understanding.
And my visions for you are clear
Promising clear visions or guidance for others.
I am the lord, my dear
Claiming a position of authority or divinity.
Hear them calling me to pray
A repetition of the earlier call to prayer.
