I'm sitting here
I am currently in a reflective state.
Going over my faces
Reviewing and contemplating my different expressions or personas.
Thinking of all the places I could rather be
Pondering about alternative places I would prefer to be.
And this time of year
Referring to a specific time of the year.
I'm a fat little bear boy with my guitar
Describing oneself as a chubby boy with a guitar.
I'm a bumblebee buzzing at the bar
Metaphorically likening oneself to a buzzing bumblebee in a social setting.
Waiting for the seas to turn to ice
Awaiting a transformative or significant change symbolized by seas turning to ice.
Wouldn't it be nice
Expressing a desire for a pleasant situation or circumstance.
If all that mattered
Contemplating a scenario where the only significant thing is the increase in cold air.
Was the air growing fatter with the cold?
Reflecting on the idea that the coldness of the air is the only noteworthy aspect during this time.
And I've been told
Referring to information received from others.
And I don't know why
Expressing uncertainty about the reason behind the information.
But there seems to be a very fine line
Observing a subtle distinction or boundary.
Between the points of our thoughts
Highlighting a connection between our thoughts and our mental states.
And the points of our minds
Emphasizing the delicate relationship between different aspects of our consciousness.
Could we ever be brave enough to define ourselves
Pondering the possibility of being courageous enough to define oneself.
Far less complicated?
Contemplating a simpler and less intricate way of defining one's existence.
For life is not for the weak heart
Concluding with the assertion that life requires strength and resilience.
