I was looking for adventure when I walked out front

Drinking like a drunk while the rain came down

So I got real high and I sat right down
Getting high and sitting down, uncertain about the destination.
I couldn't tell ya where I was bound
Unable to specify the destination but reaching it suddenly.
But all of a sudden I got where I was going
Surprisingly arriving at the destination with an intriguing discovery.
and buddy you won't believe what I found
Teasing the audience about the surprising discovery.
It's crazy unbelievable
Emphasizing the unbelievable and crazy nature of the discovery.
You see I went through a hallway
Describing an underground journey leading to the Republican National Convention in Jacksonville, Florida.
Up and down some stairs
-I was underground for a while
-The roots looked like hairs
-With the humidity growing tenfold in the air
-I wasn't surprised in the least
-I was in Florida
-Jacksonville
-At the Republican National Convention
-Louis Gohmert was there
Observing political figures engaging in controversial and destructive actions during the convention.
He was coughing on everyone
-Gaetz was wasted and baked
-From a gas mask bong he was token on
-Tom Cotton was armed with his white out
-And erasing the pages of our history
-William P Barr, Chad Wolf and some others
-Had the Statue of Liberty trapped in the northwestern corner
-After tear gas flash bangs and beating her silly
-An unmarked van drove her away
-As I'm scanning the room
Noticing the behavior of Jim Jordan and Ted Cruz during the event.
I catch a glimpse of Jim Jordan
-He's alone and he's yelling and he thinks it's important
-Then I see Ted Cruz come over and try to console him
-and Jim's like fuck off Ted, nobody likes you
-Poor teddy
Expressing sympathy for Ted Cruz.
Someone drew a mustache on the portrait of McCain
Describing disrespectful acts towards the portrait of McCain, hinting at the responsible party.
It ain't much of a mystery who would do such a thing
-The word loser with two O's covered his name
-And he had two horns coming out of his head
-I'll give you three guesses, Judges? Captain Bonespurs will work
-Pretty soon everybody made their way to their seats
Transitioning to the convention's main event, noting Mike Pence's unexpected presence with Susan Collins.
It was time for the show, the crowd took to their feet
-But right before that piece of shit started to speak....
-Mike pence walks in with.. Susan Collins
-Just the two of them ...together
-Now everybody knows one thing about Mike
Highlighting a peculiar aspect of Mike Pence's behavior.
He can't go anywhere with a woman without the company of his wife
-And it was right around then I woke up on the porch
Realizing the surreal nature of the situation as a dream, expressing dissatisfaction with the current political state.
Realized I was having a dream of the nightmare sort
-Now it certainly wasn't where I wished I had gone
-But it is where we are until Election Day comes
-I hope that we vote out every one of these clowns
Expressing a desire for change through voting.
So the next time I leave I can go out of town
-So for the sake of the country vote this Election Day
