I see no stability in history
I perceive a lack of stability in historical accounts.
Since we're finding lies upon lies upon lies
Observing a pattern of discovering falsehood upon falsehood.
Yet you base your life on inconsistencies
You build your life on contradictory information.
None of which have any backings provable
No supporting evidence backs up these inconsistencies.
I'm not saying it's bunk to learn
I'm not dismissing the value of learning.
What we believe happened before
It's not wrong to study what we believe happened in the past.
Because they've all agreed upon the lie
All historical accounts agree on a false narrative.
And it's probably somewhere near the truth
The truth might be somewhere close to the agreed-upon lie.
But I'd much rather base my life
I prefer to center my life on what is observable.
Around anything that's here before my eyes
Preferring things that exist in my immediate surroundings.
Anything that's tangible
Focusing on things that are tangible and real.
Anything that's a definite fact
Embracing only definite and proven facts.
Resting on the laws of physics
Relying on the principles of physics for a solid foundation.
Everything we need to know
Everything we need to solve problems is within reach.
To solve our problems
Implicit suggestion that understanding physics is key to problem-solving.

Asserting that all necessary knowledge is present.
Somewhere
Somewhere unspecified but accessible.
Around us
Emphasizing the presence of knowledge around us.
Somewhere around us
Reiterating the idea of knowledge existing in our vicinity.
Somewhere definite
Emphasizing the certainty of knowledge being somewhere definite.
Something that we say we know
Referring to something known based on scientific understanding.
Based on science
Contrasting reliance on science against historical accounts.
And not history
Pointing out the source of disagreement – science versus history.
This is where we have problems
Identifying the root of problems – the clash between science and history.
This is where we disagree
Highlighting the divergence of opinions at this juncture.
This is where we head in different directions
