I Got a Lot
Echoes of Unspoken Words: Nick Heyward's Poetic Reflections on Love and SilenceLyrics
I got a lot of love inside my heart
I have a significant amount of love within my heart.
I got a lot of nothing in my mind
My mind is filled with a sense of emptiness or a lack of purpose.
I got a lot of you inside my head
You occupy a large space in my thoughts and emotions.
I got a lot of stuff I should have said
I have many unspoken thoughts or feelings that I should have expressed.
I got a lot of things to say to you
I have many things I want to communicate to you.
I got a lot of things I think about you too
I also have various thoughts about you that occupy my mind.
But none of it means anything anymore
All these thoughts and feelings seem to have lost their significance.
And none of it means anything anyway
These thoughts and feelings may not hold any meaning or importance anyway.
And of this is anything I should say
There's nothing in particular that I should express or communicate.
And none of this is worth saying anyway
Expressing these thoughts may not be worthwhile or valuable.
So I just let it fade way
As a result, I allow these thoughts and emotions to fade away.
I got a lot of things I think I know
I believe I have knowledge about various things.
I got a lot of things I need to let go
There are things I need to release or let go of.
I got a lot of things to say to you
There are more thoughts and emotions I want to share with you.
I got a lot of things I know about you too
I possess knowledge about you that I want to communicate.
But none of it means anything anymore
Similar to earlier, these thoughts seem to have lost their significance.
And none of it means anything anyway
Reiteration that these thoughts and emotions may not have any meaning.
And of this is anything I should say
There's nothing specific that I should express or communicate.
And none of this is worth saying anyway
Expressing these thoughts may not be worthwhile or valuable.
So I just let it fade way
As a result, I choose to let these thoughts and emotions fade away.
