Lyrics
A piece of my story in cell number 3
A part of my personal narrative is confined to cell number 3.
From this jail, there's no return
Once imprisoned here, there is no way back.
Freedom has a price, there's nothing I can do
Freedom comes at a cost, and I feel powerless against it.
When will my dream come true?
When will my aspirations be realized?
I'll never see the sun
I will never experience the warmth of the sun.
I'm a victim on the run
I am a victim in constant escape or evasion.
I'm screaming out of pain
I express my agony through loud screams.
Shout it loud to be free!
Loudly shouting to break free from the pain.
I'm screaming out of pain
Reiterating the intense vocal expression of pain.
Shout it loud! Freedom, life i wanna prosper!
Loudly shouting for freedom and a prosperous life.
My place had no glory, my town had no hope
My place and town lacked glory and hope, requiring strength to endure.
I had to learn to be strong
I had to learn resilience and fortitude.
They wanted to command what I had to do
External forces sought to control my actions.
And put me away for so long
Resulting in a prolonged separation or imprisonment.
I'll never see the sun
Deprived of the sun's presence forever.
I'm a victim on the run
Continuously evading victimhood.
I'm screaming out of pain
Expressing pain through vocal outbursts.
Shout it loud to be free!
Loudly shouting for freedom to break free.
I'm screaming out of pain
Reiterating the intense vocal expression of pain.
Shout it loud! Freedom, life i wanna prosper!
Loudly shouting for freedom and a desire for a prosperous life.
