Intending to articulate words more clearly and distinctly.
Or quote a scripture from God's word
Mentioning the possibility of quoting a scripture from religious texts.
Wouldn't make you change your mind
Suggesting that even invoking religious references won't influence change.
You'll always think I need to do things your way
Highlighting a perception that the listener insists on their way of doing things.
There's no room for equality
Asserting a lack of space for equality in the listener's mindset.
No one can be different with your realm of thought
Emphasizing a narrow-minded perspective where deviation is unwelcome.
You preach love
Pointing out the inconsistency of preaching love while practicing bigotry.
But bigotry is the only seed that you sow
Accusing the listener of sowing seeds of discrimination.
You're so far from the truth
Expressing a belief that the listener is far from understanding the truth.
With your backwards thinking
Criticizing the listener for having a regressive or backward way of thinking.
So concerned with condemnation
Pointing out an excessive focus on condemnation rather than understanding.
You've forgotten how to love
Noting a loss of the capacity to love due to preoccupation with condemnation.
