When my heart is overwhelmed,
Expressing distress and emotional burden when feeling overwhelmed.
Hear my cry, give heed to my prayer
Pleading for divine attention and consideration for the prayer being made.
And my eyes are dim with tears,
Describing tearful eyes, seeking clarity from the Father.
O Father, make them clear.
Asking for guidance to overcome emotional turmoil.
From the ends of all the earth,
Emphasizing the vastness of the plea, extending to all corners of the earth.

Acknowledging moments of weakness or despair in the heart.

Seeking assurance of divine acknowledgment and understanding.
Lead me into safety.
Requesting guidance and protection, asking to be led to safety.
And lead me to the Rock,
Yearning to be led to a solid foundation symbolized by "the Rock."

Highlighting the elevated and secure nature of the sought-after Rock.

Reiteration of the desire to be led to a higher, steadfast foundation.

Emphasizing the superiority of the Rock compared to personal limitations.
