Well since '13 I've had a war in me
Since 2013, the speaker has been dealing with internal conflict.
In between somewhere in the war is peace
Amidst the conflict, there is a search for inner peace.
Got my hand caught up in the war machine
The speaker got entangled in the machinery of war.
Fingers on the trigger so the war is free
Being ready for conflict with the trigger, suggesting readiness for war.
I cant find

The speaker is struggling with a sense of timing or balance.

But I tore em down cuz the war inside

When I dropped the weights cuz I am weak
