No casual romantic involvement or access to a hot tub.
I was just a brain whose brain never let up
I was a highly intellectual person with a relentless mind.

Challenging the notion that this is wrong.

Those years are a period where survival is considered fortunate.

Tried out for the football team.
Found out the hard way that you can't live your Dad's dream
Realized the difficulty of living up to the expectations of a father.

Had a sensitive nature to fit into societal mechanisms.
Then I found a guitar and the rest's a fanzine
Discovered a guitar and the subsequent creation of a fanzine.

Is that the high school kids are wrong
The assertion that high school kids are mistaken.
You know they have been all along
Highlighting the historical inaccuracy of high school kids.
Come graduation day you'll be gone
Assuring that on graduation day, those wrong perceptions will be gone.
