The Artist
Visions of Life: ONEMAC PROJECT's Artistic OdysseyLyrics
In the darkest caverns of the mind
In the deepest parts of the mind
A beauty born, a beauty blind
A person of extraordinary beauty is born, but unable to perceive it
The artist tries anew each day
The artist endeavors anew each day
To paint a picture of the way
To depict the world as he perceives and experiences it
He sees and feels the world
He interprets and feels the world
In which he lives
The world in which he resides
Sometimes in brightly coloured paints
At times using vibrant colors
Pictures born without constraints
Creating images without limitations
Of beauty most of us ignore
Portraying beauty often overlooked by most
Or tragic lives of washed-up whores
Or the tragic stories of neglected individuals
He sees and paints the world
He perceives and paints his world
In which he lives
The world in which he exists
The words and music tell a tale
The lyrics and melodies narrate a story
Of love and life and those who fail
About love, life, and those who face defeat
The joys of birth and loss of death
Capturing the happiness of birth and the sorrow of death
Of lives well lived and final breath
Reflecting on well-lived lives and the final moments
He writes the rhythm of the world
He composes the rhythm of the world
In which he lives
The world in which he lives
The dancer moves with supple grace
The dancer exhibits fluid elegance
Each move a beauty we embrace
Each movement a beauty embraced by all
And live each step as if our own
We live each step as if it were our own
We dance with love, we dance alone
We dance with love, sometimes in solitude
The dancer strides the world
The dancer navigates through his world
In which he lives
The world in which he lives
His language was his paint and pen
His means of expression were language, paint, and pen
His music and his dance of zen
His music and dance embody a state of zen
His soft and never spoken words
His unspoken words, soft and profound
Are still being sung by some songbird
Still echoed by the melodies of a songbird
His work all done he quietly slipped away
Having completed his work, he quietly departed
With no goodbye
Without bidding farewell
