So many lives cut short where does the time go
Reflecting on the brevity of life and the mystery of time.
Quarantined at home damn where my mind go
Feeling mentally confined during a period of isolation.
I think God is speaking clear in every time zone
Believing that God's message is clear across different time zones.
Life is more than getting 0's, stunting tryna bag hoes
Life is more meaningful than material pursuits and superficial relationships.
To appreciate love, maybe we should know what pain is
Suggesting that understanding pain is crucial for appreciating love.
To appreciate the sun, maybe we should know what rain is
Drawing a parallel between appreciating the sun and knowing what rain is.
Making the best out of these bad situations
Optimistically making the best of challenging circumstances.
Put your Hope in the Creator not creation which is tainted
Encouraging trust in the Creator rather than the flawed creation.
So take a minute to quit stuntin on ya IG
Advising against vanity on social media (IG) and urging self-reflection.
And realize that your story isn't over b
Emphasizing that one's life story is ongoing and not concluded.
