A sense of recognition and support from those below.
We're not even to the end
We haven't completed our journey yet.

Pondering the possibility of being in an afterlife or a different state of existence.
Cause sometimes it feels like heaven
Occasionally, the experience feels euphoric and divine.
We are the first of a generation
We represent the first of a generation with extended lifespans.

I intend to keep you company
Commitment to being with someone for an extended, perhaps indefinite, period.
As we planned in perpetuity
Plans for enduring companionship, even in the face of challenges.
Even if we're living in a simulation
Considering the possibility of living in a simulated reality.
Or holding robotic hands
Metaphorically holding hands, possibly in the context of a technologically mediated existence.

Wouldn't be so bad
Suggesting that living in a simulated reality might not be undesirable.
Here's a thought, but when you make me laugh
Reflecting on the positive impact of shared laughter.
You take a photograph and then you take a nap
Capturing moments through laughter and preserving memories.
If you told me I should take a hike, I'd ask you to go
Expressing a willingness to face challenges or disagreements and resolve them amicably.
Maybe we'll go to Tahoe, again and again
Recalling a specific location, Tahoe, and the possibility of revisiting it multiple times.
