Wild Horses
Journey of Echoes: Finding Home Amidst Wild HorsesLyrics
I write this song from miles away
I am composing this song from a distant location.
In the place I now call home
The current place where I reside is now considered my home.
With friends and family here with me
I am surrounded by friends and family in my current location.
I’ve no reason more to roam
I no longer have a compelling reason to wander or travel.
But I can hear the echoes
I can still hear the memories and impressions of the places I've visited.
Of the places that I’ve seen
Recollections of the various places I've witnessed linger in my mind.
I can see the wild horses as they break against the wall
I visualize untamed horses colliding with obstacles, symbolizing challenges.
And scatter pearls into the sky so I can watch them fall
The horses disperse pearls into the sky, representing beauty in overcoming obstacles.
Taste the freedom on my lips and breathe the wild perfume
I savor the taste of freedom, breathe in the wild scent, and experience liberation.
I close my eyes and I can see the blue
By closing my eyes, I can mentally perceive a vivid blue imagery.
The road that I have travelled it may not have been laid well
The path I've taken might not have been straightforward, but it holds valuable lessons.
But there’s things I’ve learned along the way and as far as I can tell
Despite challenges, I've gained wisdom from my journey thus far.
The treasures that I’ve found there are worth every mile I’ve come
The discoveries and experiences I've acquired are worthwhile for every mile traveled.
And every mile will draw me nearer home
Every step forward brings me closer to my ultimate destination, which is home.
I don’t know how long I have to walk these earthly shores
Uncertain about the duration I must navigate life's challenges on Earth.
One day I’ll dwell in mansions and I’ll stand on sapphire floors
A vision of future dwelling in opulence, standing on sapphire floors.
And I will spend eternity beside a sea with you
An anticipation of spending eternity by the sea with a significant other.
Until then I can look up and see the blue
Until that time, I can gaze at the sky and find solace in the color blue.
