Concerning a great speckled bird

Remember her name is recorded

All the other birds are flocking 'round her
Other birds surround her, but she is despised
And she is despised by the squad
She faces disdain from a group of birds
But the great speckled bird in the Bible
The great speckled bird is associated with the church of God
Is one with the great church of God.
Highlighting unity with the church of God
All the other churches are against her
Other churches oppose her due to envy
They envy her glory and fame
They resent her reputation and honor
They hate her because she is chosen
They harbor hatred because she is chosen
And has not denied Jesus' name.
She remains faithful to Jesus' name
Desiring to lower her standard
Others attempt to diminish her moral standards
They watch every move that she makes
They scrutinize her every action
They long to find fault with her teachings
They wish to find faults in her teachings
But really they find no mistake.
Despite efforts, they find no mistakes
She is spreading her wings for a journey
She prepares for a spiritual journey
She's going to leave by and by
Anticipating her departure in the future
When the trumpet shall sound in the morning
Referencing a biblical event with the trumpet
She'll rise and go up in the sky.
She will ascend into the sky when the trumpet sounds
In the presence of all her despisers
Despite despisers, she rises with a unique song
With a song never uttered before
Her ascent is in the presence of those who despise her
She will rise and be gone in a moment
She ascends quickly, ending the tribulation
Till the great tribulation is o'er.
Her departure signifies the end of great tribulation
I am glad I have learned of her meekness
Expressing satisfaction in learning about her meekness
I am proud that my name is on her book
Pride in being associated with her in God's book
For I want to be one never fearing
Expressing a desire to face the Savior without fear
The face of my Savior to look.
A commitment to fearlessly face the Savior
When He cometh descending from heaven
Anticipating the Savior's descent from heaven
On the cloud that He writes in His Word
Describing the biblical image of the Savior's arrival
I'll be joyfully carried to meet Him
Expectation of a joyful meeting with the Savior
On the wings of that great speckled bird.
