That endless yellow-lined road
Refers to a seemingly endless road marked with yellow lines.
And I in my cloudiness,
The speaker was in a state of confusion or uncertainty.
You in your rationale,
The listener was acting based on reason or logic.

Both the speaker and listener nullified each other's influences or impacts.
Now, there are some people
There exist individuals who prioritize pleasing each other without addressing issues.
Who live to please each other, never have to work things out,
They avoid confronting problems or conflicts through constant accommodation.
But, then again, these are the same people
These same individuals inquire about the speaker’s experiences with the listener.
Who ask me and wonder what my time with you is all about…
