I was attacked by a giant squid
I experienced an encounter with a giant squid.
When I was just a little kid
This event occurred when I was a child.
It reached its tentacles out, and dragged me in
The squid used its tentacles to pull me underwater.
Although I am much older now
Despite growing older, I still can't fully comprehend the incident.
I still really don't know how
I remain uncertain about how I escaped being consumed by the cephalopod.
I wasn't turned into cephalopod chow!
I managed to avoid becoming food for the squid.
It was a normal day of the year
The incident happened on a regular day.
I walked along the water with cheer
I strolled by the water with joy before the attack.
Until a slimy arm filled me up with fear
A slimy arm instilled fear in me during the walk.
He pulled me down in the deep
The squid pulled me into the deep water.
I struggled hard to breathe
I struggled to breathe while submerged.
Surrounded by water
I found myself surrounded by water.
As the squid hit harder
The squid's attacks intensified.
I poked him right in the eye
In self-defense, I poked the squid in the eye.
I was just about to cry
I was on the verge of tears.
He threw me into a shark

As the water grew dark
The surroundings darkened as I faced the shark.
He opened up for a bite
The shark prepared to bite me.
There was no end in sight
No apparent end to the danger was in sight.
So I kicked him in the head
In desperation, I kicked the squid in the head.
And his eyes turned red
The squid's eyes changed color to red.
I gave him one good slap
I delivered a forceful slap to the squid.
He let me loose after that
The squid released its grip on me.
I swam back to shore
I swam back to the shore.
And went surfing no more
I decided to stop surfing after the traumatic experience.
After that big ocean attack
Reflecting on the ocean attack, I had to accept certain facts.
I really had to face that facts
A lesson learned: Avoid surfing in squid habitats.
Don't go surfing near the squid habitat
Surfing near squids is risky and dangerous.
A Squid fight is real bad news
Squid fights are to be avoided due to their severe consequences.
But I ain't got the blues
Despite the ordeal, I remain resilient and positive.
Cause All I got is one bruise, and some ink on my shoes!
