'Cause all this found its way without a guide
Because everything has found its way without explicit guidance
And then the comet shot around
Then suddenly, a comet moved swiftly around
The strings were making faster sounds
The musical strings played faster
All natural forces came to our bed
All natural forces came together in our bed
We were positive and negative
We embodied both positive and negative aspects
In a foreign land we were natives
In an unfamiliar place, we felt like natives
In that holy god fearing night
During that sacred, reverential night
Come on religious wind
Come forth, spiritual or divine wind
I've found you again
I've encountered you once more
He was the ache in my blood
Referring to someone who caused intense emotions in the narrator
When the sun was comin' up
As the sunrise approached
I cursed its name, I'd had enough
I cursed the sun, feeling fed up
Bein' in such a rush
With the rush and pace of life
Let me care for this one
Allow me to take care of this particular thing/person
When the city's burnin' down
Amidst the city's chaos or destruction
Could you settle for a smaller town
Would you consider settling in a smaller, quieter place?
Do you hate that your heart does not race
Do you dislike that your heart doesn't beat rapidly?
And all the while we're swapping cards
Simultaneously exchanging situations or roles
And looking for another flaw
And searching for another imperfection or fault
In a window we cannot look away
In a situation where we can't divert our attention
Come on religious wind
Come forth, spiritual or divine wind
I've found you again
I've encountered you once more
He took me through the flood
He guided me through a challenging situation
When water breaks the shield
When barriers are broken by water
And all illusions are revealed
And all false beliefs are exposed
That's where my heaven will be
That's where my version of paradise or happiness will exist
All distressed and unclean
Feeling distressed and morally impure
