The symbolic demise of those in power who lack substance.
The plastic lungs start to give in
The artificial systems supporting life begin to fail.
In the face of death now just a pawn
Facing mortality and realizing insignificance in the face of death.
Downtrodden bird's rattle of death
Symbolic representation of the downtrodden and oppressed.
Keeps drilling blood out of my veins
Enduring pain and suffering caused by external forces.
The end of time has finally come
A proclamation that the end of the world has arrived.

Questioning responsibility and accountability for the world's suffering.
The suffering of all must be justified

Nature's destructive forces ensuring equality in death.
