Receiving information about the movement of celestial bodies, possibly metaphorical.

Acknowledging a tendency or inclination towards sinful behavior.
Well that's like running with the wind
Comparing the inclination to sin to the ease of running with the wind.
And all the while we live in denial of what's ephemeral and what is dull
Living in denial of transient and mundane aspects of life.
And so it is, we come to miss the chance to have more than we had before
Regretting missed opportunities and the failure to appreciate what was had before.

Revealing that there is something important to communicate.
You told me our world could end this way
Suggesting a potential negative outcome for the world or a relationship.
You told me that we were bound to slow
Indicating a belief that things are destined to slow down or decline.
Well that's like drifting with the flow
Comparing slowing down to drifting with the natural flow.
