Journey Through My Lemon Trees: Exploring Life's Bittersweet MomentsLyrics
I don't know much, I don't know near enough
I have limited knowledge and understanding.
To get there and back again
Expressing uncertainty about the journey and its repetition.
I don't know why, then again why should I
Questioning the purpose without a clear answer.
Care when it all is gone today
Indifference towards caring when everything is fleeting.
Dreading the waters, learning to sin
Feeling apprehensive about navigating unknown challenges.
Where all my endings await to begin
Anticipating new beginnings at the end of various experiences.
I don't know where - running up blind in here
Lost and confused, facing uncertainties.
Tryin' to get away from this
Attempting to escape from an undesirable situation.
I don't feel right, let alone like-minded
Feeling out of place and disconnected from others.
With whom that I was yesterday
Not recognizing oneself compared to the past.
Dreading the waters, learning to sin
Experiencing challenges and learning from mistakes.
Where all my endings await me
Repeating the theme of anticipating new beginnings.
Now I've been through it all, known to love my fall
Having gone through various experiences and embracing failures.
Vetting all the problems that was sorely made
Reflecting on and assessing problems that were self-inflicted.
And I see all my friends reaching out their hands
Observing friends offering help and support.
Singing all the songs that are given to the dead
Noticing a collective expression of grief for the departed.
What a waste when all is said and done
Acknowledging a sense of waste after everything is completed.
But still the taste's too sweet from
Admitting the lingering allure despite the acknowledged waste.
My lemon trees
Personal possessions or experiences that are bittersweet.
My lemon trees
Reiteration of the significance of the bittersweet "lemon trees."
