Sometimes while on this way I feel alone
Sometimes while on this journey, I experience feelings of isolation.

I pray for divine assistance to gain strength.

The darkness, representing difficulties or troubles, is diminishing.
Lord I know sometimes I let you down
Admitting moments of failing God.
But cleanse me and put away all the sin and weight
Asking for forgiveness and relief from burdens (sin and weight).
And guide me walk with me day and night
Requesting divine guidance throughout day and night.
And lead me through the valley of the shadow of death
Asking for guidance through extremely challenging times (valley of the shadow of death).

Continuing to perceive hope or salvation ahead despite difficulties.

Reiterating the brightness of the hope seen.

Reaffirming the imminent arrival of assistance.

Reinforcing the diminishing of troubles or hardships.

Repeating the perception of hope or salvation ahead.
