I Pay No Heed to the Signs
Unveiling Shadows: A Tale of Resistance in Soft Plastic's Melodic RealmLyrics
I pay no heed to the signs
I ignore warnings or indications
At least the ones that don't float
Especially those that lack significance
I hid the body in Rome
I concealed a dead body in Rome
And jacked up the legs under my body of work
I elevated the importance of my artistic achievements
I need a backpack of rope
I require tools for unconventional art installations
To jack my paintings in trees
Hanging my paintings in trees using a backpack and rope
Dark umber visions of foul gluttony
Dark and unpleasant visions of excessive indulgence
Flickering fires are floating in the fens
Intermittent fires are seen in the marshes
These are not visions of hope
Contrary to hope, these are not positive visions
Still, man, I try to be better than
Nevertheless, I strive to improve myself
Devotional poetry
Expressing devotion through poetry
Seven quick knocks and you will know that it's me
Identifiable by seven quick knocks
I come from over the sea
Originating from overseas
But only floating angels can float over our sea
Only ethereal beings can traverse our sea
Howling that the children have been seen
Alarming news that children have been observed
Raiders raid the salons and the salons are steamed
Invaders target social gatherings, causing tension
Roll on, you band of free
Continue, group of liberated individuals
Flickering fires floating in the fens
Similar flickering fires persist in the marshes
These are not visions of hope
These visions do not inspire hope
Still man, the same as it ever was
Humanity remains unchanged, facing challenges
Distress in my chest, the same as it ever was
Feeling unease in my chest, a persistent condition
There's distress in my chest
Distress persists in my chest
But try to be better than
Striving to be better despite challenges
The falconer's mom (or)
Possibly referring to a falconer's mother or arm
The falconer's arm
But still you can't always run from the freeze
Avoidance is not always successful in evading difficulties
But you can't always count on the breeze
Reliability on external factors is not guaranteed
A prom is a dance only for teens
Proms are events for teenagers
And you should always, always, try and get ahead of the freeze
Always strive to anticipate and surpass challenges
To the falconer's sweet mom
Advising the falconer's mother to escape harm
I say, flee from harm
Encouraging someone to avoid danger
