Asking for divine intervention or salvation.
Decadence unwinds
Describing the gradual decline of moral values and standards.
With those invisible borders
Mentioning the existence of unseen boundaries or limits within society.
In our states, in our minds
These invisible boundaries exist both in physical territories and in people's thoughts.
And we pocket it with a smile
Choosing to accept negative aspects of society with a positive demeanor.
Thank god it's easier to tolerate in denial
Expressing gratitude for the ease of ignoring problems by pretending they don't exist.

A ruler or leader has their moment of authority before inevitably passing away.
