Suddenly my eyes were dazzled,
Suddenly, the speaker's vision is overwhelmed by brightness.
I could hardly see at all.
The brightness makes it difficult for the speaker to see clearly.
The music in my ears:
The music playing is described as a heavenly call.
Such a heav’nly call!
The experience is characterized by a divine and uplifting feeling.
As I stood I felt a wonder
The speaker feels a unique and unprecedented sense of wonder.
That I’ve never felt before.
This wonder is distinct and novel in the speaker's experience.
Although my heart was full
Despite a full heart, the speaker desires more of the experience.
I just wanted more.
An insatiable desire for more of the uplifting moment.
And then as we shepherds listened,
The shepherds listen attentively to something significant.
We heard angels sing on high:
Angelic singing is heard by the shepherds on high.
Our Saviour had been born!
The birth of the Savior is announced, filling the sky with praises.
Praises filled the sky!
Celebration begins as Christ's life starts.
So the celebration started
A festive atmosphere marks the commencement of Christ's life.
As the life of Christ began.
Christ's birth is the beginning of a significant celebration.
The King of love was born
Jesus, the King of love, is born for humanity's sake.
For the sake of man.
The purpose of Christ's birth is emphasized.
One bright star shone out that night,
A single bright star shines on the night of Christ's birth.
Bringing hope to all mankind.
The star brings hope to all of humanity.
One bright star shone out to say: ‘He is born!’
The star declares the birth of Christ.
One bright star that promised peace
The star symbolizes a promise of peace.
And no more fighting,
The promise includes an end to fighting.

The shepherds are eager to welcome the newborn King with distinction.
And we gave our minds and hearts

To baby Jesus,
The focus is on Baby Jesus, the Son of Man and God's pure light.
Son of Man and God’s pure light.
