The guardian of the eternal gates, imposing and frightening, lifted the barrier in the northern direction.

The fibrous roots of every human heart, deeply embedded in the Earth, were visible to her.

Thel perceived the locations where the roots intertwine and connect with the Earth.

She moved through the land of clouds, surrounded by darkness, hearing sorrows and mournful sounds.
Of every heart on Earth infixes deep its restless twists
Thel experienced the sorrowful cries and expressions of grief.
She wandered in the land of clouds through valley dark,
She wandered through dark valleys, listening to pains and lamentations.

Often standing near a divine grave, she remained in silence.

Finally reaching her own burial plot, she sat down and heard a sorrowful voice emerging from a hollow pit.

And Why a little curtain of flesh
Asking why a small curtain of flesh exists on the bed of our desires.
