Resorting to repeating tired, uninspired ideas or beliefs.

The tired anthem of a loser and a hypocrite

Acknowledging oneself as a failure and someone who doesn't practice what they preach.


Oh! to have died that night I realized it wouldn't last!

Expressing a wish to have died when they realized a moment's happiness was fleeting.

Our days were numbered and the reaper tipped the hourglass

Feeling that their time or fate was limited, indicated by an hourglass symbolizing the passing of time.

The final mayday of our sinking ship had come and passed

Reflecting on the final distress signal of a doomed situation.

Oh! to the west, you don't know what it is you're running from

Reflecting on someone unaware of their true troubles or challenges.


And everybody's laughing loud

Observing others enjoying life or mocking the situation.

Your last chance to make your mother and father proud

Highlighting the pressure to impress or gain approval from parents.
