Then mama stopped him in his tracks and said before it's too late
Mama interrupts Young Swoov, urging him to reconsider his belief in Santa before it's too late.

Mama acknowledges that revealing the truth may not be easy.
But it's time and you're a little old to still be believin

It stopped the kid mid-action, color fallin' off his face
Young Swoov is shocked and stopped in his tracks, losing the innocence of belief.

Raising suspicion about the identity of the gift-giver.

Reiterating disbelief and impossibility of Santa's existence.
Forget about askin' me, actually, absolutely not okay
Rejecting any inquiries about belief in Santa, firmly stating it's not okay to ask.
On dasher, dancer, prancer, can't believe it's all a lie, well
Listing reindeer names and expressing disbelief that it's all a lie.
If Santa isn't real then all these cookies are mine.
If Santa isn't real, the narrator claims ownership of all the cookies left for him.
