No power of the hand to dry
Acknowledging the inability to control or manipulate this purity using physical power.
I'm swimming in it i'm swimming out to you
Immersed in this purity, moving towards a connection or destination.
For reasons, my reasons

So photograph it the milky way
Suggesting capturing the essence of the vast and mysterious (the universe).
It spills into the hand and dries
The captured essence seeping into one's grasp and eventually drying.
I am here now and i'm staying put
Present in the moment and committed to staying in that state.
For reasons, my reasons

And so to bed to bed
Heading to bed, a symbolic rest or closure.
My soul to share
Willing to share one's innermost self or essence.
An island of the brave my soul to save
Describing the self as a courageous and valuable entity to be preserved.
In hopes that god's awake my soul to take
Expressing hope that a higher power is aware and protective of the inner self.
I'm swimming in it i'm swimming out to you

For reasons to be home

So photograph me in milky white dreams
Suggesting capturing oneself in dreams of purity.
Spill into my head
The captured essence entering the mind.
And when i hold you like to tomorrow you might die
Expressing the intensity and urgency of holding onto someone, as tomorrow is uncertain.
Well that's because you might
Acknowledging the uncertainty of the future and the possibility of loss.
But i am here now
Reaffirming the presence in the current moment.
And i am staying put for reasons my heart knows
Commitment to stay in the present for undisclosed reasons known to the heart.
