Embracing Fate: A Poetic Journey Through Struggle and ResilienceLyrics
For a time I dreamt of a home
Desiring a home for a period
To be built by all of us
Collective effort in building the home
I even laid this new foundation
Establishing a new foundation
I thought a dream could be shared
Belief in a shared dream
But the night saw it crumble
Dream collapses at night
And, I'm not my brothers' anvil
Not obligated to bear burdens like a brother
I can stomach the poison administered
Tolerating administered poison
It will wear off, along with this dry spell
Confident in recovery from the poison and dry spell
Set it all afire
Advocating setting everything on fire
Under this lonely moon
Acting under the influence of loneliness
I won't even try to sleep tonight
Choosing wakefulness over sleep
Set it afire
Repeating the call to set things on fire
To acquiesce the night
Accepting the night through setting it on fire
Set it afire
Reiteration of the desire to ignite
And watch the flames
Observing the flames
Pull these roots out of my throat
Symbolic removal of hindrances
I can scale this summit alone
Self-sufficiency in overcoming challenges
Though the summer sun looms like a hammer
Facing challenges despite their intensity
I won't fault it for beating me down
No resentment towards challenges
Return to life
Rebirth on infertile ground
On this barren soil
Hard work until hands become unyielding
I will work until my hands become stone
Commitment to work without provisions
Return to life
Revival without external support
Without provision
Surviving without necessary supplies
Return to life
Embracing life when conditions improve
When the river flows
Symbolic reference to the flow of positive change
