Dear Mr. Good I'm writing to tell you about my child

Then in mid-circus pull the rug out from under him
Advocating for a sudden shift or revelation to undermine the child's confidence.
My fear is that he's nearing the third rail
Expressing a fear that the child is approaching a dangerous situation or path (the third rail).
He's kneeling to another angry idol
Concerned about the child idolizing someone angry and potentially harmful.
And I can see it as his face is getting pale
Observing the child's face turning pale, indicating distress or danger.
That he's on his way out of this world
Suggesting that the child may be on a self-destructive path out of this world.
This sudden spat of insanity - needs a good fat dose of humility
Highlighting the need for humility to counteract a sudden bout of irrational behavior.
Otherwise a dictator will arise in class and rule by fear
Warning against the emergence of a dictator-like figure in the class ruling through fear.
So before he gets too old to know what we're doing right now
Emphasizing the urgency of addressing the child's behavior before it's too late.
Before he gets too old to turn a deaf ear - turn it back my way
Calling for the child to pay attention before becoming too old to understand the situation.
My fear is that he's nearing the third rail
Reiterating the fear that the child is approaching a dangerous situation or path (the third rail).
He's kneeling to another angry idol

And I can see it as his face is getting pale
