as the mind craves resolution

Amidst the collapsing world surrounding me,

I take time to reflect,

On aging, sickness and death.
Reflecting on the inevitability of aging, illness, and death.
I'm not exempt,
Recognizing that I am not exempt,
I'll be separated from everything I hold dear to me.
I will be separated from everything dear to me.
Yet i'm responsible
Despite this, I bear accountability,
For my actions, forging my path and where it leads.
For my actions, which shape my journey and its destination.
Far beyond any perception,
Beyond any surface understanding,
My heart my truth will supersede.
My heart's truth will hold superior significance.
Born into ignorance,
Entered this life unaware and unknowing,
beyond conditioning i have found
I've realized beyond societal conditioning
That which is never born and never dies.
That which transcends birth and death.
free from the endless cycle of samsara
Freedom from the endless cycle of worldly existence.
The time has come.
The moment for change is here.
The course is set.
The path forward is determined.
the middle path is all we got,
Choosing moderation and balance is our sole recourse,
To end this cycle
To terminate this recurring pattern
Of suffering.
