I would never do you harm

But this life is unfamiliar

I don’t mean to cause alarm
Clarifying the lack of intention to create alarm or distress.
If I were to put the big light out
Contemplating the possibility of ending everything.
Surely there would be an end?
Questioning whether ending life would bring finality.
If I were to face a new day
Considering the need for companionship to face a new day.
Surely I would need a friend?
Highlighting the necessity of friendship for support.
Sir you do possess such kind eyes
Complimenting someone's empathetic and compassionate eyes.
Many are so vacant where
Observing that many lack emotional depth or empathy.
Ought to be a patient tenderness
Desiring a gentle and caring presence in a specific place.
I would take my refuge there
