Its been a few weeks since that message that I left to feed the lie
Several weeks have passed since the misleading message I left to sustain a falsehood
That communications open when we both know that has died
Despite the appearance of open communication, we both acknowledge its demise
I wish that were the nobler thing
Expressing a desire for a more honorable course of action
But Heaven holds a promise for every friend we've left behind

But God its just too hard to stick around
Acknowledging the difficulty of staying
Maybe herein lies the place where grace starts
Suggesting that true grace may begin when faced with difficulty
That when were both lost then God is found
In moments of mutual loss, the presence of God becomes evident
