Emphasizing the emptiness or vacancy of these homes.
And all the proof is in my pocket
Carrying evidence of societal issues in one's possession.
The whole world is live streamed
Reflecting on the prevalence of live-streamed global events.
But the more I come to know it
Expressing a growing awareness that doesn't translate into personal empowerment.
The more powerless I seem
Feeling increasingly powerless despite acquiring knowledge.
I thought that knowledge came with power
Challenging the notion that knowledge equals power.
But the power isn't free
Acknowledging the cost or limitations of obtaining power.
