Epilogue
Harmony Unveiled: Embracing Truth and Cosmic FlowLyrics
I thought it all came to a cross but it turned into a circle
I perceived a situation as a culmination, but it transformed into an ongoing cycle.
When I started using green with a touch of orange and purple
Upon using substances associated with altered perception, such as drugs, my perspective changed with colors like green, orange, and purple.
Like sunset over rock mountains with a forest in the distance
Imagery of a sunset over rock mountains with a distant forest, symbolizing a picturesque scene.
It dissipated my resistance to truth, to flow
This experience removed my resistance to truth and the natural flow of life.
To what I've always known in the recess of my soul
A recognition of fundamental truths embedded in the depths of the speaker's soul.
In the darkness where I grow
Growth occurs in the darkness, metaphorically referring to challenging or hidden experiences.
And so I let go of the burden I'd been bearing
The speaker releases a burden that has been carried for a long time.
Of the mask that I'd been wearing
The mask, a metaphor for a facade, is discarded, revealing authenticity.
It was such a heavy load
The burden and mask were emotionally and mentally taxing.
To judge a thing on quality alone is a delusion
Quality alone is an inadequate measure; a realization against superficial judgment.
Whether right or wrong, good or evil can't ever be proven
Assertions of right or wrong, good or evil, lack definitive proof.
You can point your finger, scream and shout
Expressing the futility of blaming and getting lost in illusions.
And stay lost in the illusion
Alternatively, observing thoughts and experiencing the grandeur of existence.
Or sit quietly, watch your thoughts and feel the mountains moving
Meditation is presented as a valuable tool to transcend divisive falsehoods.
This meditation is a blessing and provision
Acknowledgment of the blessing and support that meditation provides.
To help us see beyond the falsehood of division
It enables a broader perspective beyond artificial divisions.
And so the universe bestowed on us a vision
The universe grants a profound vision, symbolized by the transformation of breath.
Of a lung filled up to zero, turned to one in exhalation
A contemplation on the power of existence, with zero turning to one in exhalation.
So here I sit and contemplate the might of this existence
Reflecting on the immense might of life.
While something in me tries to qualify the world with such insistence
An internal struggle to impose judgments on the world persists.
Some say that all is nothing, some say that all is one
Exploring contrasting perspectives on existence.
Who speaks the truth? I seek the truth in everyone
Seeking truth in diverse viewpoints.
Within these bodies we must seek a clearer view
Within our physical bodies, a quest for clearer understanding is necessary.
If you zoom out far enough the galaxy's a molecule
A cosmic perspective reveals the vastness of the galaxy as a minute part.
And if we look within ourselves, we're given yet another clue
Looking inward provides additional insights.
This expansion and contraction is a microcosm too
The cyclical pattern of expansion and contraction is mirrored within.
You are the perfect self and yet you don't know what to do
A paradoxical realization of being perfect yet uncertain in action.
You seek a thousand goals and know not which one to pursue
The struggle to choose from numerous goals and directions.
But don't forget that every river found the ocean blue
Despite confusion, every path leads to a meaningful destination.
I wonder on the way if every drop of water knew
Contemplating if every individual experience contributes to a collective understanding.
Your mind's stuck in a loop and is just endlessly repeating
An acknowledgment of repetitive thought patterns, possibly hindering progress.
The fog you think you're stuck in is just something you're perceiving
The perceived confusion is a subjective interpretation rather than an absolute reality.
The wisdom of this world I can no longer find relief in
Expressing disillusionment with conventional wisdom.
The teachings of my wordless breath are all I can believe in
Relying on the profound teachings of personal experience and breath rather than external knowledge.
