Describing life as a constantly changing and unpredictable river.
Flowing fast until the rapids swallow some up-up-up-up-up
The fast flow of life, with challenges represented by rapids.
Not every fish can keep up with the stream
Not everyone can keep up with life's challenges.
These unyielding swift currents swallow dreams
The difficulties and challenges that can overwhelm dreams.
But somehow, I've floated into some swimmers
Encountering supportive individuals in life's journey.
Whom have carried me, and kept me afloat, going down the stream
Gratitude for those who have supported and kept the person going.
Well, would I have drown without your fins?
Reflecting on whether the person would have failed without the support.
Thank you all for being my floatation device
Expressing gratitude to everyone for being a source of support.
Flying so high now way up in the sky
Feeling elevated and liberated, possibly due to overcoming challenges.
Thought the empty atmosphere would clear my mind
Expecting clarity in a seemingly empty or quiet space.
But yet there is no escape from falling through some clouds,
Realizing that challenges still exist even in a seemingly peaceful environment.
Still there birds out there that keep us from hittin' the ground
There are supportive figures (birds) preventing a fall or failure.
And I have found, that I've fallen through to the right clouds
Feeling fortunate to have fallen into the right circumstances.
Cause at the bottom, I landed on the spread of the feathers of all you
Gratitude for landing safely, likening it to the protection of others.
Saviors in the sky, all you saviors in the sky
Expressing gratitude to those who act as saviors in the person's life.
Thank you all for being my wings
Thanking everyone for being like wings, providing support and upliftment.
Slicing my machete, to escape from the jungle
Using a machete as a metaphor for overcoming obstacles in life.
Lookin' for that beach gonna make me humble
Seeking a tranquil place but realizing challenges persist.
But even the sharpest blade, cannot cut through the shade
Even the sharpest tool cannot eliminate inner struggles (shade).
You can never run away from your shadow
Acceptance that one cannot escape from their own shadow (inner struggles).
And I have found, some natives who have fed me dinner oo oo oo
Finding support and sustenance from others in challenging times.
Kept me warm at night, when the cold slips in to my mind
Gratitude for emotional warmth and support during difficult times.
So would I have frozen, or been eaten by some some creatures?
Reflecting on whether the person would have suffered without support.
