Lyrics
I want to live in a world where no one suffers
I desire to exist in a world without anyone experiencing suffering.
I want to leave the world a better place
I aspire to leave a positive impact on the world before I depart.
I don't know if I'm strong enough
I am uncertain if I possess the strength required for this endeavor.
Or what I'm willing to give up
I am unsure about what I am willing to sacrifice or give up for this cause.
But if we work together
Collaboration can lead to significant improvements if we join forces.
Then we can make things so much better
Working together has the potential to make a substantial positive impact.
Call me a hypocrite
I may be labeled a hypocrite for initiating positive changes.
For setting my world into motion
I set things in motion to improve my surroundings.
To be honest, I'm sick of it
I'm weary of my own actions and their consequences, even the seemingly minor ones like using soap.
Even my soap is killing the ocean
My daily choices, like using soap, contribute to environmental harm, and this realization troubles me.
I tread lightly, act kindly
I take cautious steps and treat others with kindness, leaving minimal negative impacts.
And leave nothing footprints
I strive to have no harmful impact on the environment, leaving behind no negative traces.
But by being here, I'm sincere,
My presence here is genuine, but I acknowledge my own culpability.
But I'm guilty
Despite good intentions, I feel guilty for the unavoidable negative consequences of my existence.
