I don't know about tomorrow
I am uncertain about what will happen in the future.
I just live from day to day.
I focus on living in the present, taking each day as it comes.
I don't borrow from its sunshine
I do not rely on the positive aspects of the future.
For its skies may turn to grey.
The future may bring challenges or difficulties.
I don't worry o'er the future,
I do not stress about what is to come.
For I know what Jesus said.
I trust in the teachings of Jesus.
And today I'll walk beside Him,
Today, I will walk alongside Jesus, acknowledging that He knows the future.
For He knows what lies ahead.
Jesus is aware of what lies ahead in the future.
Many things about tomorrow
There are many aspects of the future that I find incomprehensible.
I don't seem to understand
I struggle to understand certain things about the future.
But I know who holds tomorrow
Despite my uncertainties, I am confident in the knowledge of who controls the future.
And I know who holds my hand.
I am aware of the presence of the one who holds my hand in difficult times.
Every step is getting brighter
Every step I take leads to a brighter future.
As the golden stairs I climb
I am making progress toward a positive and hopeful future.
Every burden's getting lighter,
My burdens are becoming easier to bear.
Every cloud is silver-lined.
Difficulties are revealing positive outcomes.
There the sun is always shining,
In the future, there will be constant brightness and joy.
There no tear will dim the eye
No sorrow will be present in that future state.
At the ending of the rainbow
A metaphorical place of great beauty and promise in the future.
Where the mountains touch the sky.
A place where challenges meet a glorious resolution.
I don't know about tomorrow
I am uncertain about the future, acknowledging potential challenges.
It may bring me poverty.
The future may bring financial difficulties.
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
God, who cares for even the smallest creatures, will support me.
Is the one who stands by me.
God stands by me in times of need.
And the pathway that be my portion
The path ahead may involve challenges such as trials or hardships.
May be through the flame or flood
Despite potential difficulties, God's presence guides me.
But His presence goes before me
God's presence precedes me, providing assurance and protection.
And I'm covered with His blood.
I am covered and protected by the sacrificial love of Jesus.
