I watched these beings walking in their sleep;

with arms outstretched, fingers pass through mine, but nothing's there

only a white sheet and blank stares;

they're breathing down my neck but nothing's there
They are close behind me, but there's nothing there
I'm no longer anywhere
I exist nowhere anymore
whipping winds tear at my throat
Raging winds violently affect my voice
they take me far from you
They transport me far from you
mockingbirds tear out of my eyes
Mimicking birds emerge from my eyes
will my vision be restored?
Will my ability to see be restored?
all that's left is to wander the dark beneath
All that remains is to wander in the darkness below
never making any progress
Without making any advancement
trapped in monotony
Trapped in a routine
just left floating and dreaming seeking and lacking, longing and searching for something lost
