Seeking a way to ease the mind, suggesting inner turmoil or confusion.
It's all lights and resonance
Referring to a state of illumination and sound waves.
We all know it's heaven-sent
Acknowledging that it is widely recognized as a divine or special experience.
But I wish I could understand
Expressing a desire to comprehend the experience better.
And turn it off sometimes
Expressing a wish to be able to switch off from the overwhelming experience at times.

Suspecting that the person avoided eye contact deliberately.
So I didn't walk over, I didn't walk over and help
Choosing not to intervene or offer help, possibly due to uncertainty or hesitation.
So that look in your eyes was no real surprise
Realizing that the distant look in the person's eyes was not unexpected.
They're giving it up
