I'm gonna move myself to a new city
I'm planning to relocate to a different city.
pretend I have always been there
I intend to act as if I've always lived in this new place.
I'm gonna walk to my legs down to the station
I will walk to the train station.
and have the train take me there
The train will transport me to the new city.
I feel I need to disappear
I sense a strong desire to vanish or escape.
and so I trick myself out of here
To fulfill this desire, I use a mental trick to leave.
I'm gonna tease my mind until it's morning
I'll play with my thoughts until it becomes morning.
uh-uh-uh I'll be blinded
I'll be deliberately ignorant or oblivious during this process.
I'm gonna freeze my ass during Berlin winter
During the winter in Berlin, I'll endure discomfort without concern.
bu-hu-hu I cannot care
Expressing indifference or a lack of care regarding the discomfort.
I feel I need to disappear
Similar to line 7, a feeling of needing to escape is reiterated.
and so I trick myself out of here
Repeating the use of a mental trick to escape or cope.
I'm gonna move myself to a new city
Reiteration of the plan to move to a new city.
pretend I have always been there
Repeating the intention to act as if always belonging to the new city.
I gonna breathe all in, I want it filtered through me
I want to experience everything deeply, filtering it through my being.
pretend I'm never lonely
Pretending to never feel lonely during this process.
I feel I need to disappear
Restating the inner need or urge to escape.
and so I trick myself out of here
Continuing the use of a mental trick to escape or cope.
