Lyrics

I stood before the judge that day

I faced the judge in court on that day

As he refused me bail

The judge denied my request for release on bail

And I knew that I would spend my time

I realized I would be incarcerated while awaiting trial

Awaiting trial in jail

I would spend the waiting period in jail

I said there is no justice

I expressed my belief that there is no justice

As they led me out of the door

I protested as they escorted me out

And the judge said, "this isn't a court of justice, son

The judge clarified that it's a court of law, not justice

This is a court of law."

Emphasizing the procedural aspect of the court

Family and advisors urged me to accept the situation
