I’ve been a hammer a while
I have been forceful and impactful for a considerable time.
and all the world looks like a nail.
Seeing the world as if everyone and everything needs to be influenced or changed.
Everywhere I go, story stays the same,
Everywhere I go, the narrative or situation remains constant.
We get hurt then repeat it.
We experience pain but tend to repeat the same patterns.
Is there anyone out there I could hold onto that
Is there someone out there who can provide comfort and make the pain acceptable?

Seeking solace or healing from someone or something.
These are the wounds that never mend
Referring to persistent emotional injuries that do not heal.

Continuing endlessly until the very end.
oh but I could be healed
Expressing the possibility of healing despite the deep wounds.

Suggesting that the same person who caused the pain could also bring healing.
I’ve tried to starve and exile
Describing attempts to deprive and isolate oneself.
and fish for minnows off a whale,
Engaging in futile efforts, akin to catching small fish from a large source.
but everywhere I go, song remains the same,
Despite efforts, the essence or melody of life remains unchanged.

Facing situations where one cannot emerge victorious or overcome challenges.
Are there anymore swords that I need to fall onto before
Asking if there are more challenges or hardships to endure before achieving success.

Questioning if more struggles are necessary for a positive outcome.
I’ll be robust and agile
Determined to be strong and adaptable.
and I will look under the veil.
Willing to explore beneath the surface and understand deeply.

Is there anyone in here I can rely on to
Seeking someone reliable to alleviate the pain.

Asking for support to alleviate the suffering.
