Highlighting the ironic contrast between youth and the surrounding darkness or negativity.

All this darkness,

Recognizing pervasive darkness or negativity.

It blinds me.

Feeling blinded or overwhelmed by the negativity or darkness.

But the saving grace is:

Finding solace or relief in knowing there's an escape or solution.

I know where the door is,

Awareness of an exit or way out from the situation.

Though I never thought that I'd have to use it.

Unexpectedly needing to use the exit or solution despite not anticipating it.


Can anyone out there foreshadow my pain?

Questioning if anyone can predict or foresee the pain experienced.

No, I don't want to watch myself wither away.

Rejecting the idea of witnessing one's decline or deterioration.
