Questioning if everything is okay is a common inquiry from others.
Isn't it obvious?
Expressing frustration that the answer to the previous question should be apparent.
You'd think they'd've gotten past the niceties by now
Expectation that people should have moved beyond superficial pleasantries.
And it just keeps goin' on
Describing an ongoing and persistent issue.
No end in sight
Feeling like there is no resolution or conclusion in sight.
Always feels like there's this wave about to crash down on me
Sensing a constant impending crisis or overwhelming feeling.
Yeah, their words keep crowdin' my brain
Words from others are overwhelming and preoccupying the mind.
Circling round and round like a whirlpool
Describing the persistent and encircling nature of intrusive thoughts.
Till something comes along
Anticipating relief or distraction until a new problem arises.
Makes it feel like my... my thoughts are flushing down the drain
Feeling as though thoughts are being lost or discarded.
Wait for it
Creating suspense or anticipation for something to happen.
I know... it ain't what you expected but...
Acknowledging that the situation may not meet expectations.
And the rantings of an insane man are hardly the makings for music
Discrediting the value of expressing oneself through music, possibly due to mental struggles.
That's the beauty of life
Highlighting the unpredictability and richness of life.
It's the beauty of the unexpected
Embracing the beauty found in unexpected events or circumstances.
We never know what things could be, they will be
Reflecting on the uncertainty of the future and its potential.
The depth, sometimes it takes us higher
Suggesting that challenges can lead to personal growth or enlightenment.
I dunno if the suffering, the pain give us meaning
Uncertainty about whether suffering and pain contribute to life's meaning.
I do know it's what we've got
Acknowledging the reality of suffering as part of the human experience.
Maybe we can build on that
Suggesting the possibility of finding strength or purpose in adversity.
It seems we need to try
Advocating for resilience and an effort to improve the situation.
