Implying that any uprising is anticipated, documented, and controlled by authorities.

Suggesting that increased resistance will lead to more casualties, portraying them as statistics.

Recognizing the existence of people who perform societal roles but are essentially human like everyone else.

But they're still fresh and blood like me and you

Emphasizing that individuals in societal roles, despite their tasks, share the same humanity.


Forced in jobs that they don't want to know

Criticizing the imposition of undesirable jobs for worthless currency that serves only to display wealth.

For monopoly money that's made to show

Denouncing the system's manipulation through money and the promotion of artificial competition.

Taught to compete against the people on the street

Highlighting the enforcement of competition among individuals, belittling them and their dignity.

Critiquing the submission enforced upon individuals, suggesting it's presented as a reward.


This is planned from early on, when you're just tiny little mites

Implying early indoctrination and control of individuals within educational institutions.

Squatting in the classroom, learning how to read and write

Describing the early learning environment and its influence on shaping behavior.

Hearing all the good things, like how to be polite

Reflecting on the education received and its underlying intention to control perception.

What we realise now is that they had control of sight

Suggesting that authorities manipulate the knowledge and vision of individuals.


We were told of Gods galore and heroes more

Criticizing the selective narrative focusing on glorified figures and neglecting the oppressed.

But never of the people who were beaten to the floor

Highlighting the disregard for those who suffered or were subjugated.

Told to admire all leaders great and tall

Questioning the admiration for leaders while ignoring their oppressive actions.

But never told it was those bastards who made the people crawl

Pointing out the responsibility of oppressive figures in subjugating the populace.


If you look quite deep enough, you'll see its all a con

Implying that upon deeper examination, societal systems reveal themselves to be deceitful.

A look at past history tells... all Government is wrong!

Arguing that historical evidence showcases the flaws and wrongdoing of all governments.
